Winter Break!

For so many reasons I am relieved that this semester is finally over with with the last final and research paper submitted I can finally BREATH! My sociology professor gave me the best comment I've ever received in a class before. 

 

"Robyn, thanks for doing such a fine job with this assignment. You’re a Ninja with essays. I’ve enjoyed working with you and please continue your quest for further education. Some day, I’d like to call you “Dr. xxx" <--OMG this coming from a Doctor/PHD! I'm framing it!

On the flip side of the coin my research professor can only be defined as..She sucks. We're in the last week of grading and we're still needing grades on Week 7 and 8 Final now.  Her feedback or lack of has really put a downer on my course. With such major papers due and e-mails that take 4 weeks to answer you, would think she would finally get the hint when 90% of the class gave her a negative review on the discussion boards. 

It really is disappointing because I've been a 4.0 student for 2 years now. 2 YEARS OF HARD WORK and I can maintain it through Sociology but this ONE research professor takes it away from me and I can blame it on her and her lack of organization. Kinda puts a damper on the best review and she needs 90% of coal filling her stocking this season ;o(  YES I am allowed to be bitter, that was my GPA.

But setting all of that aside...I finally finished and until January I get a much needed stress break and what great time for it to happen with doctors appointments for Baby N coming up and winter settling in and our Midwest trip happening this weekend. WHEW takes a load off of my mine. 

Time to wrap myself in a novel and crank the heat up ;o)
