Cough Cough -- Back to Shore

Cough, Cough is right, after 2400 miles of driving, 3 days on board our beautiful ship to the Bahamas, lots of shopping and a cold to boot - We finally arrived home! I enjoyed our trip so much, but in the end nothing is like home sweet home and your own bed with your favorite pillow to fall into.

The weekend was perfect, the Princess did well for her second big trip in the car. Surprisingly enough we still kept time well even though we had extra breaks to stretch and relax. The ship it was very nice, but TD and I have been on better in my opinion.

MSC Poesia was not very friendly in customer service at their reception desk as they got very snippy with me twice over questions/concerns on board and then lied to us telling us we were the last to get early leave and to make a decision RIGHT THEN while 6 people behind us got the "EARLY" leave as we walked by the desk again. They must have wanted to just get us out of line. Mental check, get names next time.

Our waiter was fantastic when he could actually wait on us, he was a bus boy, wine server and deliverer, on other ships they always have someone to help him so I can't totally blame him because his service was off the hook, but only when he was actually allowed to do his job.

The food was great, the shows-off the hook, the people we met were fabulous and thawing out on the beach while snow was happening back home was priceless!

Overall it was an awesome week filled with good fun and some much needed relaxation, just hate that I'm bunked up at home with a very nasty cough and cold. Look for pictures coming soon!
