TO iPhone or NOT to iPhone

That is the question..

The Doc and I have been looking at upgrading our phones since we got them when we were married. I know sad isn't it, now two years later at the end of our contracts - or his I might add since mine has been WAY up a long time ago. We're considering our options, 4G, android, go with a regular phone or go with that beacon of bright shinny light that the angels seem to sing around...The Apple iPhone. I mean the thing when you walk past the Apple store SPARKLES calling out to you, beckoning for you to touch it...MY PRECIOUS

Ok out of the geek moment and back into straight reality. HAVE YOU SEEN HOW MUCH THEIR PLANS ARE FOR THOSE PHONES! Ok reality check, husband is not yet a practicing doctor in this country, CHECK. Me, Full time student, CHECK. Daughter nuff said, CHECK, CHECK, CHECK! It's completely ridiculous, we have 3 phones on our T-mobile family plan and only pay $110.00 a month -- That's not even the cost for ONE iPhone in a month.

Now we keep hearing that you can put it on your T-mobile phone system unlocked. But do I really want to keep trying or just wait until we go oversea this spring and buy it cheaper there? Hmmm The options the options.


So my question is to you, my wonderful readers, which would you choose iPhone, Android or Other? Why?
